Not only is the game getting an upgrade graphics wise, but Rockstar has confirmed a load of new features will be introduced. Grand Theft Auto Online will also arrive on both consoles as a standalone game. “The expanded and enhanced versions of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online are arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with new features and more,” Rockstar said in a statement.
The developer is also cooking up something special to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III. “In honor of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto III, we’ll have even more fun surprises to share – including some specifically for GTA Online players,” noted Rockstar. GTA V will be releasing on November 11 on Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series S/X. GTA Online will also be available for free for the first three months on the PS5.
