We lost a real one when Anthony Bourdain passed away in 2018. The culinary legend with a sharp tongue and smart wit gave food fans years of pleasure with his hilarious take on world cuisine. While we might no longer be able to watch any new adventures of his on-screen, Bourdain has given fans one last gift in the form of his final book: World Travel: An Irreverent Guide.

Finished by his longtime assistant Laurie Woolever, World Travel: An Irreverent Guide is a guide to Bourdain’s favorite food spots in the world. Woolever sourced much of the content from Bourdain’s final cookbook, Appetites, and episodes of Parts Unknown and No Reservations

The 480-page book will offer readers travel tips and insights into Bourdain’s treasured restaurants. Essays and personal anecdotes from his family, friends, and colleagues are also included, giving fans an in-depth look into who Bourdain really was. Each chapter also features custom artwork of Bourdain from artist Wesley Allsbrook.
