A few weeks back Aston Martin debuted the Vantage as the official Formula 1 safety car for the 2021 F1 season. Now the luxurious car maker is releasing a roadworthy version known as the Vantage F1 Edition. “A Vantage to appeal to the most discerning drivers and a new model that marks an exciting moment in Aston Martin’s history – the return to Formula 1,” remarked Tobias Moers, Aston Marin’s CEO.

This sleek looking coupe runs a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 528 horsepower, which is 25 more hp than any other previous Vantage. An eight-speed automatic transmission has been fitted for quicker gear changes and the chassis updated to handle the extra power. The Vantage also has a top speed of 195 mph. Another sign this car is more than your standard Vantage is the addition of 21-inch wheels wrapped in bespoke Pirelli low-profile tires. This is the first time a Vantage has sported wheels bigger than 20-inches. An aerodynamic package has also been added, increasing the downforce by over 440 pounds. This high-performance coupe comes in Aston Martin Racing Green, just like the F1 safety car, or if you’d prefer something more neutral, Lunar White and Jet Black. All colors are available as a gloss or satin finish. The interior is slightly nicer than the safety car and inspired by racing aesthetics. The exclusive leather and Alcantara upholstery is available in a choice of Lime Green, Obsidian Black, Wolf Grey, or Spicy Red with contrast stripe and stitching.

If the $200,000 price tag doesn’t scare you off, you can even purchase accessories such as an Aston Martin badged car cover and luxury leather Vantage luggage. The Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition can be purchased now with deliveries starting in May 2021. For more information visit Aston Martin.
