Recognized as one of the premium Porsche collections in the world, the famous Leonard Collection is officially up for sale. Marketed through the online auction site Collecting Cars, there are 38 different vehicles up for grabs, 23 of which are Porches. This incredible cluster of prestigious automobiles features some of the rarest “Rennsport” models ever built, along with an assortment of other eye-catching four-wheel and two-wheel vehicles.

Breaking down the collection is hard as the highlights are plentiful. Fans of Porsche’s Carrera are in for a treat, with a white 1998 Carrera 3.2 Club Sport with only 6,416 miles on the odometer, a delivery mileage Maritime Blue 1992 964 Carrera RS, and one of only 1,104 Speed Yellow 1995 993 Carrera RS’ all up for grabs. There’s even a Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS previously owned by Jay Kay from Jamiroquai on offer if that tickles your fancy?  1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Club Sport/Collecting Cars 1992 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS/Collecting Cars 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS/Collecting Cars Other Porsche highlights include a classic 1994 Porsche 911 (964) Turbo 3.6 in Canary Yellow, a 2011 limited edition convertible 911 Speedster with just 1,318 miles on the clock, a fully restored 1971 911 T 2.2., and a deluxe 2006 Porsche Carrera GT in Fayence Yellow with bespoke interior by the Exclusive Manufaktur. This luxurious Porsche also happens to have the highest bid, with one keen punter offering just over $1 million USD for this prized automobile.  1971 Porsche 911 T 2.2/Collecting Cars 2006 Porsche Carrera GT/Collecting Cars If you’re not a Porsche fan don’t fret, as the collection includes several other weird and wonderful vehicles. There are five Ferraris – including a one of only 41 UK right-hand drive 1997 F512 M, a track-focused 2004 360 Challenge Stradale, and a 2008 430 Scuderia – a fully restored 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, a super rare 2013 Land Rover Defender LXV, and a 1985 Honda NS400R built as a tribute to the NS500 racer that won the 1983 500cc World Championship. 1997 Ferrari F512 M/Collecting Cars 2013 Land Rover Defender LXV/Collecting Cars 1985 Honda NS400R/Collecting Cars Alvis Sabre Light Tank/Collecting Cars But the craziest item you can get your hands on is an Alvis Sabre Light Tank. That’s right, a bloody tank! Based on the design of the famous Scorpion tank, the Alvis Sabre is powered by a petrol engine and features a (thankfully) decommissioned 30mm L21A1 RARDEN cannon. The highest bid so far is $24,383, which is a bargain if you ask me.  There is no reserve price on any of the vehicles, so some are sure to fetch a pretty penny. Bidding on The Leonard Collection ends May 16, with all purchases easily shipped from the UK to America.    The Leonard Collection
