SEGA and game developer Creative Assembly have dropped a cinematic trailer for Total War: Warhammer 3. SEGA is calling the third and final game in the series an “epic culmination of the Total War: Warhammer trilogy.”
While there’s still no official release date or price point, the game is believed to be releasing sometime this year. Following on from 2016s Total War: Warhammer and 2017s Total War: Warhammer II, fans of the old school tabletop game are in for a treat.
The game will be returning to the classic Old World setting and will include a heap of new characters. Featuring in the video game for the first are Kislev and Cathay. They’ll be joined by Chaos factions including Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch.
“Embarking on a new grand campaign, you will be tasked with saving or exploiting the power of a dying god,” SEGA wrote in a press release promoting the game. “Each race offers a unique journey through the nightmarish Chaos Realm, culminating in an endgame that will determine the fate of the world.”
