This $2 million whisky set from The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. and Fabergé has to be seen to be believed. Known as The Emerald Isle Collection, this limited-edition set celebrates the “Seven Wonders of Ireland.” Made up of seven different pieces housed inside an alluring walnut wood box, the opulent set includes a prized 30-year-old single malt Irish whiskey, a Fabergé egg, and a bespoke watch.
The drop in question is The Craft Irish Whiskey Co.’s famous 30-year-old single malt Irish whiskey. Distilled in first-fill American oak casks before being finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry barrel, this scrumptious sipping whisky will warm the cockles of your heart. Two bottles feature in each set.
Along with the whiskey, the lucky buyers will also be the proud owners of two exclusive creations from Fabergé. The first is a Fabergé egg crafted by fourth-generation enamel workmaster Dr. Marcus Mohr. It features 18k yellow gold, a diamond-encrusted Celtic knot, gemstones, and Fabergé’s iconic hand-painted guilloché enamel. Each egg contains a different gemstone representing the Seven Wonders along with an uncut Zambian emerald that can be turned into a piece of custom jewelry.
The second Fabergé goodie is a bespoke timepiece handcrafted by horologists André Martinez. Assembled from 18k rose gold, the watch also features self-winding movement and comes with a brown alligator strap. Each watch also sports a different design inspired by one of the Seven Wonders and has a mother-of-pearl face with hand-painted 24k gold flakes. The back of the case has been engraved with The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. logo.
If that’s not enough, this opulent whiskey set also includes a humidor with two Cohiba Siglo VI Grand Reserva cigars, a gold-plated cigar cutter, obsidian whiskey stones, a gold-plated water pipette, a hip flask filled with Emerald Isle whiskey (one of the rarest Irish liquors), and a carafe filled with Irish spring water.
There are seven of these rare sets being auctioned off this year, with the first having already been sold at a private auction in Houston, TX. All money made from the sales will go toward charity.
