Hungarian company Narke first made waves when they launched the Narke GT45, one of the world’s first electric jet skis. Announced in 2014, it wasn’t until four years later at the Cannes Yachting Festival when Narke unveiled a fully functional prototype. So impressed were those in attendance, pre-sales sold out within minutes.
Not content with resting on their laurels, Narke has been hard at work on a follow-up. The end result is the stunning GT95. Sleeker, sharper, and with more power, the GT95 is the ultimate electric propulsion water cruiser.
Powered by an electric motor and 24 kWh high-power battery pack, the GT95 produces 95 horsepower with a range of 31 miles. It also has a decent top speed of 43 mph. Charge wise, it takes roughly six hours, but a fast-charge can top up the battery in just 1.5 hours.
Looking like something James Bond would ride, the GT95’s all-new carbon-fiber-reinforced hull design seats three comfortably. At 13 feet in length, the GT95 is spacious enough without being too overwhelming. The hull design uses deflection technology enabling a smooth ride no matter your skill level.
Another nifty addition is a seven-inch customizable digital display. This digital dash tracks the charge level, distance from shore, milage, and water temperature. You can even use it to take calls if you’re brave enough to take your phone out on the open water.
Narke’s GT95 retails for $47,000. You can pre-order your own electric jetski via Narke now.
