Kentucky Distillery Woodford Reserve is matching the finest American Whiskey with the world’s classiest crystal to delight whiskey lovers everywhere. Editorial credit: David Tonelson / Shutterstock.com Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition features beautiful bourbon aged for an extra three years in French XO cognac casks and comes bottled in a handmade crystal decanter that took Baccarat artists five full days to create. “Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is a celebration of history, a celebration of the connections between France and Kentucky — and a celebration of the finest flavors of bourbon and cognac,” said Woodford’s Master Distiller Chris Morris. The taste result is a sensational mix of American whiskey – vanilla, dark chocolate, dried fruit and creamy caramel top layers of rich malt. The oak carries with it beautiful hints of the French cognac, and the finish is velvety smooth with a long delicately spiced caramel mocha note. The limited-edition bottle evokes the Woodford Reserve bottle silhouette and is engraved in gold with Woodford Reserve’s and Baccarat’s logos. Editorial credit: Cineberg / Shutterstock.com The whiskey is presented in a signature Baccarat red box and includes a crystal stopper adorned with Woodford Reserve’s initials. “We are proud of the work done together and of a beautiful decanter that our artisans crafted inspired by the excellence and savoir-faire that both our Maisons cherish,” Said Baccarat Global CEO Daniela Riccardi.
Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is 90.4 proof and retails from $2000 USD. Baccarat Edition is available in extremely limited quantities and can be purchased via Reserve Bar and at select retailers nationwide. A limited number of bottles are also available at Woodford Reserve Distillery. Editorial credit: Arne Beruldsen / Shutterstock.com Feature Image: karenfoleyphotography / Shutterstock.com
